City Council and P&Z Meet Thursday Apr 16

Thursday is a busy day for the City of Wilmer, with several meetings scheduled, including a City Council Meeting at 7:30PM at the Community Center. Click Here to View the City Council Meeting Agenda in a new window.

Prior to the City Council Meeting, the Steering Committee for the Comprehensive Master Plan will meet at 4:00PM to discuss the development plan for the next twenty years.

At 6:00PM, the Planing and Zoning Commission along with the City Council will hold a joint workshop session to meet the Master Plan Steering Committee and BWR Consulting for a briefing on the status of the comprehensive development plan.

The agenda for the City Council is brief, discussing a change to the zoning ordinance to permit a Rodeo operation on Mars Road, the appointment of election judges for the upcoming election, and an executive session concerning hiring a Firefighter/Paramedic and the pending lawsuit with Carroll Estes.
